What I did
The story behind.
The client is a lady who had been sewing for more than 30 years. She was just beginning to understand how helpful the internet would be for her business, when she realized a consistent brand identity would lay the best foundation to it all.
Customers would recognise her throughtout different creative networks like Facebook, Dawanda or Etsy. A consistent look would set her apart from other producers. And last but not least: the pretty branding would finally fit all those pretty products she was creating.
All her sewings are bespoke. In her advertisements we tried to convey this individual touch through the handwritten font selection.
She didn’t want to be too crazy on the colours. She liked bordeaux, but knew that something had to be added to it. So I suggested turquoise and create something pastelic as a compliment. This created a good colour balance for the identity.
